David E. Perloff, MD, FACC, FACP, is the Medical Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation for Broward Health.

Dr. Perloff received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida where he earned many awards and honors including the medical honorary, Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his internship, internal medicine residency, and cardiology fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Perloff received his Bachelor of General Studies Summa Cum Laude from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida.

Dr. Perloff’s professional affiliations include the American College of Cardiology - Fellow, American College of Physicians - Fellow, Southeast Lipid Association - Charter Member, American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, and the Broward County Medical Association. He is also an advanced cardiac life support provider and basic life support - C provider.

Dr. Perloff is the assistant director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Broward General Medical Center. He currently has a private practice located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he specializes in invasive cardiology.

Dr. Perloff’s interests include speaking Spanish, golf, skiing, and scuba diving.
